It is a mystery to me why anyone would associate my name with a gun that I didn't build? That is why all of my custom jobs have carried my hallmark since the beginning. If it isn't hallmarked, I didn't build it, it's that simple. I've only used three different hallmarks, two with ML guns.
That doesn't mean all the guns I've worked on are so marked, but I never stocked nor barreled a trapdoor… Nor have I ever spuriously "aged" a gun.

You have a very fine Krag collection and I'm happy that you managed to acquire some of Mark's pieces and are proud of it as you should be. Custom Krags have always been a favorite of mine.
