Also look at NC ordnance plates, they are very good.

Bobby, my experience with NC Ordnance products was not as good as Dennis'. I ordered a couple of grip caps from them, one A H Fox and one Iver Johnson.
There were issues with both. Have never ordered any butt plates. I may well have just had bad luck, and I plan to try them again. They sure have a big inventory. Good luck.

Bobby, since Winchester apparently used the same buttplate on the 21, 12, 97 and 1911, I'd think originals in nice condition would be fairly easy to find. Have you tried going that route?

I'd look for a reproduction butt plate. Nothing worse than going through all the trouble of fitting one to your gun only to have someone take it away.
