It depends on your goal. If you are a competitive shooter and wish to break as many targets as possible in an effort to win or place well, carry the sxs you shoot best, preferably an 8+ lb. 12 ga. that doesn't hurt you.

If you are like George and don't care, shoot whatever. But it's more fun to hit 'em than miss 'em. Tell that to someone who says they "only shoot SC for fun".

I enjoy competition and shoot two-three thousand registered targets a year. I really enjoy the sxs events and have a dedicated clays sxs: a CSM RBL 12 heavy frame, 32", btfe, pg, vent rib. It weighs 8 3/4 lbs, balances a little forward, and is just a clay killer supreme.
