Did some target shooting with my western arms 20 gauge this week and every time you open the action the darn auto safety comes on and it's a pain in the azz! Is there a way to disengage the damn thing and how do you do it. On the side it would be a nice time to check/clean up the action too.
I assume that dropping the trigger group out (three screws on the bottom) and/or removing the stock will do the job without any major problems.....right?
*And no I don't want to do the gunsmith route.........just want to clean it and remove the auto safety gizmo not rebuild the darn thing.
