I stumbled into a cased Bernardelli today and I took a chance. I know the leather case is not original to the gun but it is nice case nonetheless. My problem is that I do not know which model Bernardelli I ended up with. Gun has double triggers, 28" barrels, 12 Ga. fixed M/F chokes, ejectors but they were disabled with the springs in the case and sling swivels. It came with a woven leather sling as well.

When I looked at the gun someone had printed and included a schematic for a Gamecock which it is my understanding was a registered name used by Stoeger. I looked the gun over carefully and it is not marked Stoeger anywhere. Also it has always been my understanding that guns built and imported into the states usually did not include sling swivels since this was more a European thing... Finally I do not believe the Gamecock came with much in the way of engraving. But the dealer felt that it must be a Gamecock due to the printed schematics in the case and priced it accordingly...

So my question is, is this a Gamecock or something else? In looking it over I am thinking more along the lines of a Roma 6 maybe???

Anyhow I have attached some pick for reference and your viewing pleasure. Let me know what you think as I cannot find a model indication or even a year of production anywhere on the gun.
