Jim, audacity is not required to state what is obvious to the country. Americans are not divided on their opinion of their governance---they think their Washington representation stinks. Republicans are now saying anyone would be an improvement, and Trump is trumping Reason for now. What a Milquetoast rationalization. Obviously, the division of the view of governance is the difference. Sociopathic statists want more government and less freedom for others, Constitutionalists want the government to restore individual freedom and equality and to return to its constitutionally-mandated role.

Trump only has 25% support among hispanics because of his true colors. Looking back at the 'qualified' candidate, Mr. Romney, polls said he only drew 27% of the hispanic vote. Does that mean Trump's 'racism' only cost him two percentage points, or, heaven forbid, it's within the margin of error. Could be it's not the 'Republicans' who're saying Trump's an improvement. I say he's stuck in the middle single digits like the rest of the R's, and it's red state dems and independents that are pushing him through the roof.

There is consensus by Americans that their representation is doing a poor job. There's no division on that score. What the constitutionalists want and where they get stuck is the enduring and unresolved debate between originalists and living-tree advocates. Individual freedom and equality sound great. Neither has appeared because there is no national consensus of what the constitution means to Republicans and Democrats. The sociopathic religious statists, of course, are another quintal of fish.
