How were the rest of the guns? The Parker, the FN and the Mauser 98, any condition?

The "torched Ithaca" comment got a rise out of Walt, I see. Yeah, did you buy the guns?

While I hate to see nice guns messed up as much as the next guy, I think some might be taking this too far. This morning, I recieved an email with the following subject line:
Eliminate ED...Be Happy!!!
That might be a little drastic.

The inactive member "PGC-[no.]" commented about a year back here or on the Parker site and hinted that Landers' abilities were secure to his thinking. Described a small room in which the condition of "stack arms" was to the nth degree. Perhaps at some time if you needed parts or service on the antiquated and came with the cash, Landers filled the bill. What he's doing now isn't an indicator that he doesn't KNOW what's he doing. The PGCer didn't address the question of probity of character.

Not sure which "Ed" to blame for the gun butchery "The master gunsmith" or the "drop at heal" dealer! I do know if that kid comes back from Norwood with a pair of Westley Richards for that 5K estimate I am going to have to keep my guns locked up for while I going to be so mad at myself for not taking the ride over the border!
Just kidding of course,I hope he pulls it off !

I didn't get the Richards, not that I expected to. The pair went for 10K, which surprised me. The single went for 3200 I think. Parker that was in bad condition went for $450. I talked with the buyer, a really nice guy, also a member of the PGCA. I got a Ward muzzleloading hammergun thats missing one hammer for $25. It may clean up to be a nice gun. It is very nicely engraved, ill post some pictures later. I also got the FN SxS for a decent price. Lastly I got a bigger gun safe. Now I need to fill it.
