I am often told by other dealers that my guns are too expensive.
However few if any guns that they sell have been truly 'gone through'. They buy at price x and put their margin on it. There's nothing wrong with that, it is just a different business model from mine.
Working through a gun, fixing what you find and making those alterations/improvements that can separate a shooter from a interesting but 'gun with fleas' take time and therefore adds to the cost.
I NEVER object to an offer. I always considerate and if necessary make a counter offer. No offer is below consideration.
I always try to build wriggle room in to my pricing. It's what the great US gun buying market expects.
Toby, some dealers may think you're high but I've always thought your pricing to be very fair. And, personally, I'd pay a premium for one of your gun because I know you've gone through it to fix any problems. I look forward to seeing your guns at the Southern more than any other dealer. Take Care.
