When you have the gun in hand, please let me know if it has the AH&Co. stamp. I will be very surprised if it does not.

I cannot see the mark in your barrel photo, but it is pretty small and it is up close to the beginning of the bottom rib, so usually does not show up in photos.

BTW, it is not the engraving that makes me think that this is an A. Howell gun, it is the way that it is filed up.
