Vabirddog, that's the first I can remember seeing with a scalloped action. Does it have the top level actuated sliding rib bite?

Henri Pieper was to double barrel shotgun what Henry Ford was to an automobile. Most interesting guns. I once seen Pieper with damascus barrels and last few inches of each barrel had sleeved pieces of ordinance steel. Added chokes perhaps I was never able to examine the gun to find out.

Are you referring to Henri's monoblock Diana patent? I have a sidelock from about 1888 built that way. Damascus barrels and monoblock breech and muzzle.
