dubbletrubble Sidelock Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,082 Valhalla, PA	I had one that was both. It was a model 5100 Springfield, go figure. Very stout gun to say the least. Good for your purpose for sure. Close to indestructable. Cost of 16 ga. shells may be a put off though. I believe the 5100 was first but can't say for sure.
