Just got a Zeiss Varipoint 1.1x4 with an illuminated dot reticle...question is, how do you know when it is straight? If I turn the power down so that I see the front sight, do I just center the dot over the front sight? (no crosshairs to guide) When I do that, the top cap doesn't seem to sit squarely horizontal in relation to the the sight rib. This is on a drilling, so the rib and two barrels provide somewhat of a horizontal reference. I have no jigs or special tools made for such a purpose, just a small magnetic level. Usually just eyeball it, anyway. Any thoughts? Steve
