Very nice Lynn! What software are you using for your modeling? I'm a manager for a drafting group and we currently use Inventor. My group's motto: Drafters: Because even engineers need hero's!! Ken

No, for my company* stuff I have usde Stratus RedEye.
However I did buy 2 printers from a Kickstarter project and waiting their delivery. Expected early 2016. One for my company and one for the grandkids to play with.

Greatest hoot in the world is being in business with your kids. One of the first things my son did when starting his company. http://www.nellyssecurity.com/ was to hire his Mom to handle the accounting. Strange......he hasn't found a place for dear ol' Dad yet!

You may be aware of this, but Roy Dunlap used to market an alteration to the Model 70 bolt shroud which incorporated a flange on the left side, the purpose of which was to block the bolt raceway from escaping gas caused by a pierced primer or other mishap. You might be able to include that feature in your mounting base.
One of the most obvious faults with the Model 70 design was its poor ability to handle escaping gas.
I think I have a photo of the Dunlap alteration somewhere in my files. If I can find it, I will post it here.
