Interesting story.
Not many know of the close linkup between the NAZIs and the Muslims during WW II. The SS "Handshar" Divisions were entirely composed of Muslims fighting for the NAZIs.
A lot of Muslims sided with the Nazis in WWII because their countries (Egypt being one example) were occupied by the British. ("My enemy's enemy is my friend.") Sadat and Begin had something in common when they signed the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel: Both had been labeled "terrorists" by the Brits because they were fighting for their respective countries' freedom.
