Have german drilling and the trigger guard is horn with a factory screw built into guard,but mades it weak there and was cracked when I bought.So somehow now broke completely.Looking had old repair with pins and glued. Question is anyone had luck with special glue to hold horn???

The most satisfactory will be to replace the horn. Material may be a little hard to find, but not impossible.

I recently bought an over-sized horn trigger guard that I needed to for a drilling I have. It is already shaped and polished and the tang section is left wide and thick to be fitted to your gun. I think CSMC sells these. I was lucky and found mine in a box of junk at a gun show for a very reasonable price.

A word of caution: some buffalo horn smells like hot buffalo butt when working it. I'm not sure if that applies to the ones linked above, but go in prepared.
