I bet you are mostly right. The exception would likely be shooting rafted up resting birds at night. I have also seen a wire shot mold, looked like about #4 buck molded around wire if it worked it could be serious in the right situation. It would be an interesting patterning (or whatever it would be called) experiment. The history of market shooting in Wisconsin, that I am familiar with involved a pile of pump guns with 4,5 or more shot magazines
Cadet any chance you could share a few minutes with the impact of Australia's gun laws? You read a lot but something from someone there would be interesting.
