Der Ami and skeetx, I have a bunch of 28 ga. pinfire cases, all 2 1/2" in length. It looks like they may fit the rifle chamber if cut down to 1 1/2". The inside diameter of the paper hull 28 ga. pinfire seems large enough to accommodate a bullet that fits into the bore properly.
With the bore at about .525 inches between lands and .532" to the base of the lands, the i.d.of the paper 28 ga. pinfire case is about .535 inches.
What diameter of bullet would you use, assuming my measurements are accurate?
How would one hold the bullet in the paper cartridge ?
Pictures of pinfire rifle cartridges usually show a pointed projectile. I assume this would be proper for this rifle cartridge.
Well, lots of questions at this point. Thank you all, Daryl
