Der Ami, I will use black powder. I haven't figured out , yet, how to use smokeless in a pinfire. Using a percussion cap the smokeless is said not to ignite very well.

I'll get with measuring the bores with a cast, and also the twist.

Steve, I now think the rifle chamber has a tiny rim, as it seems the 28 ga. pinfire rim will seat. My naked eye could not see that , though.
