Ted...same gun as the one you posted but with next to NO case color remaining....sounds like a $1000 shooter to me....
Maybe, but, we haven't seen it, and what someone says it "looks" like doesn't really help that much with value.
Did you know a Charlin could be had with stainless steel barrels and action? Did you know few were built like that? They don't have any case colors, and, let me assure you, will sell for far more than 1K to someone who knows what it is and wants one.
They were built as Cape guns, and double rifles. Did the guy who saw it check to see if that was the case? Would a 12 gauge with 7X57 Charlin Cape gun be worth more than 1K?
You bet.
Again, I don't do hearsay. I want to know exactly what it is, before I suggest what it is worth.
