I've taken LC Smith's apart on a regular basis and while not easy I can get it done now. Luckily there is good documentation available on the LC Smith's. Now I'd like to take apart an old Fox Sterlingworth but I can't find any written information on how to do this. This is not a pristine Fox. I got the stock off based on some earlier information I found on this site and that went fairly well.
What I would like is some basic directions or steps on how to strip it down further. In particular how do the hammers come out and then how is the best way to get them back in. Does it require a special tool?
Thanks for any help or information you can send my way.
Ron
