I first became acquainted with the CZ guns when hunting quail with Charlie Rose down in Texas a decade or so ago. CZ had given Charlie a bunch of guns for his guiding clients to use. He was shooting a 28ga Bobwhite and absolutely loved it. No issues whatsoever. Shot a bunch of their guns at an event they put on in the Kansas City area. The 28ga was definitely my favorite. They eventually sent me a 16 to try out. Shot it well, except one of the triggers had a godawful pull. Triggers, I think, have been the main complaint with Turkish guns. And it looks as if they're getting better in that department.

Funny story: I was down there late in the season one year. Since I had to drive right through KC on my way home, Charlie asked me if I'd take the CZ guns back to them. I said sure, ran a MapQuest to locate them. Got to KC, followed MapQuest--and ended up in the parking lot of a Montessori school with about a dozen guns. Call to CZ got me out of the parking lot before someone spotted a doublegun terrorist. smile
