+1. If the gun is a clone or sister to POS then I'd be careful. I had a friend who had a 10ga POS in the pre steel shot days. Looked nice on the outside, but crap on the inside. He used it once, fired fine for a couple shots, then nothing. Took it to a gunsmith and the firing pins were mushroomed. The internal parts were crudely finished and you could almost bend them by hand. My buddy is also a machinist who was shocked by the lack of finish and parts hardening.

I'd have the gun checked out prior to putting any cash on the table.

As to steel shot, 10ga guns of this period were choked Full/Full way to tight for steel.
