Can someone familiar with the Flues field guns answer a question for me? With the barrels facing down and the lumps in the air, looking at the breech end; the step shaped cocking plunger/hook resides in the lump. There is a spring around the cocking plunger which returns the plunger flush to the face of the lump. There is a screw that goes down into the lump directly above the cocking plunger. Does the end of the screw come into contact with the spring? It is obviously designed to hold the spring back, which in turn holds the cocking plunger flush against the face of the lump. I'm not sure where to position the cocking plunger as I'm inserting the cocking plunger screw. There is a hole in the cocking plunger where I can push back the spring, but I'm not sure that is correct. Thanks in advance.
