The gun pictured is a low cost, working man’s box lock. Such guns typically sell on the on-line auction sites for roughly $400.
If the gun was made by Victor Sarasqueta (and the jury is still out, waiting pictures of the barrel flats and water table), my best guess is it would be a model 98, made circa 1940 – 1950.
