Any of you men here that are in business & deal with the public know that they can say whatever about you, & do, but it is the quality off your work that speaks the loudest. Louder than praises or condemnation & even louder than $$ spent.
Every day the town vets me by my work. Most of this I never hear or know about, but I fear it not, if I have held my end up & let my work speak.
Some of my competition have their work condemn them. Who's fault is that.
I have been called to do over others work & the lady of the house is sitting on the floor crying over what the other tradesman has left her holding.
Soon enough that other tradesman has no work & it is all by his own hand. Word of mouth has a lot to do with it as well & is my best advertisement as long as my work is good.
So that word of mouth is still a ball in my court.
In the end we all live or die by our own hand & there is no one else to blame, we are responsible for ourselves & should be given no place to hide. Honest folk do not hide behind excuses.
My wife says " I am not interested in excuses, I only want to see results. Hard, but it makes her employees honest.
