What sort of wood are you looking for? Slab? posts?
John Stampfly in Grayling Michigan cuts cedar. Phone is 989-348-9236.
I doubt that he will ship. Probably need to pick it up. Where do you live?

Lots of white cedar in Norhtern Maine. Cheaper by the truck load.

I'm located in Indiana. Looking for some good carving white cedar for hollow decoys. We normally use cork but sometimes use cedar. Getting hard to find cedar around here.

Cory, why can't you use basswood (Linden), easy to carve and light in weight.

http://www.customcalls.com/to the left find Wood Suppliers, there are a lot of them and must be white cedar. Turkey Call Maker use cedar all the time, but red one mostly.

We use basswood as well but mostly for head stock. We wanted to do a group of white cedar decoys for next season as well. Need to find a supplier in Maine or somewhere like that. We have basswood timbered here locally but no white cedar at all.

Basswood is wonderful stuff to carve but you'd be carving a new wet of blocks in a couple of years. Is the price of cork going though the roof?
