Grouse Guy Sidelock Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 678 Likes: 17 Montana	I sure wouldn't try it. Even VHEs built as VHEs are (notoriously?) finicky in terms of retaining timing, ejector rods cracking, knuckle wear, etc. VHEs in 12 ga. are common. Just buy one that is functioning properly.
