FWIW-- about 8 years ago, I bought a GH no 2 frame receiver that had been converted to a VHE, by a gunsmith in Minn- Lord knows when. So, as a project, I worked with my friend and Master Gunmaker- Brad Bachelder in nearby GR- and we built a "shooter" with a VHE stock and ejector forearm he found, and a set of 28" VHE No. 2 frame barrels--Wrote a story about this, which was publish in the Parker Pages- I used it at the Sagola SC shoot in June 2010- still have it. But you are right about finicky timing of the ejectors on the early Parkers- not so sure about the later Remington-Ilion mfg. guns, or, for that matter, the Jap made Repros-- But I asked Brad the same question back then that you have posed, and he told me that he really took a bath on quoting and then doing this for a client- I concur with the others here, find a VHE skeet gun, all you would need for SC-- Good luck..
