oskar Sidelock Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 795 Likes: 93 NM	I am not an expert but seeing as they were only popular for around 40 years I would think that it would be hard to date one by design changes. Other than changing from flint to percussion the guns stayed pretty much the same until cartridge guns were adopted. After the first shot the rest are just noise.
