I have no idea what would have caused the marking of the barrels. Like I said just rubbing over it with my finger even made it go away, but it circled the whole barrel. It was most pronounced right in front of the chambers. I thought maybe it was possibly from polishing or carding the barrels?
I couldn't imagine that even an entry level Scott would have twist barrels, especially not that late (and with 1 1/8 ounce proof).
