France (Paris and Lyon) Germany/Austria (anywhere, but I want to drive the Autobahn in a flat-out Porsche) and Italy- Florence- all on my bucket list. My current wife was a French History major (Oberlin College) and spent her junior and senior years in Paris- studying at the Sorbonne)- she is, like your charming gal, fluent in French--which is a huge help and also "ice-breaker" with the local folks- We shall see- Of course, being a bit of a "raccoon-tuner" at heart, I recall words from the late W.C. Fields- "I studied abroad for 4 years, then I found out she had taught me nothing, so I left her-"!!
