Sorry to hear that, Bill. I also had to skip the Southern- travel plans and shared expenses with two pals fell through- I was really looking forward to the pump shotgun events. I have never owned a high or even medium graded double with cut barrels- enough to make you sick to think of a B grade turned into a stage-coach shotgun- But about 25 years ago, I bought a HE 12 Fox with an obliterated serial number, and a "modified" buttstock grip, and a beavertailed forearm that would make Beaver Cleaver gag and puke at his "name-sake" Today, I would not touch such a shotgun with a 100 yard pole. I am sure the Lovely Linda is taking good care of you- maybe we'll meet at the Fall Southern shoot in Oct- and then again, maybe not.
