Strange how things differ from one part of the country to another.

Turkeys around here are considered by most to be a dirty pest, polluting hay bales and feed bunks. The state lets you shoot them spring and fall and more are killed by deer hunters than turkey hunters.

Pheasants are held in high esteem, though.

You've got what, 7-8 dogs between you, just throw it out in the yard and it'll be gone lickety split..........no worries, they like brisket/beans/pork/bisquits etc.......and beer....even California wine, some of them are wino's...... smile

Don't laugh about dogs and alcohol Doug. Years ago I had a German Shepherd that liked 100 proof Old Crow. Everytime we would have a thunderstorm he would walk to the liquor cabinet and ask, in dog talk, for his nerve calming snifter. grin

Yah, Vell, me and Stormy go vay back....This Bird Season when my boys were out, I kicked his brand new Stormy under the couch hwen he wasnt looking..He couldnt find it when he left..So now I have 4..Thanks Francis..
