Well you guys back in other parts of the country may still have DHMO, but out here in progressive Howtheycornya (CA) banned that substance many years ago. We are certified 100% free of DHMO.
Thinking back a couple weeks ago at the peak of the dove hatch around here, Jas sniffed out a not yet certified for flight little dove. She ran around the yard with that little dove in her mouth while I chased here down. Finally, she sat and delivered it to my hand. The little fella was unharmed but a little soggy. I put the dove back in the garden where Jas had found it and I saw it with an adult a couple days later in that area. This little area of our garden seems to be the flight training ground for dove hatchlings every year, as it's well protected from sight of the many crows around here.
