I have searched and probably overlooked it but I am in need of some low pressure loads for Colt 1893 10 Ga. that recently started residing at my house.
I can find loads for PB and IMR7626 but since both of these were dropped from production some time ago they don't do me any good as nobody locally has a supply of these powders.
I am looking for a load, other than the Holy Black, that can be used with a currently produced smokeless powder and 1 1/4 oz or 1 1/2 Oz of shot. The gun has 2 7/8" chambers, extremely tight chokes (full +++) and 30" barrels which have minor pitting on the inside. I have some fiber wads coming from Ballistic Products and will be roll crimping Federal Hulls after cutting them down. Only plan to shoot lead thru this gun at clay birds when the mood suits me.
