Canada will not survive as a great country without immigrants. We must have them. Their first-generation performance as workers, entrepreneurs, professionals here is better than native Canadians. Without them, there'll be no money to care for my generation and those who follow. It's of very much concern of all thinking citizens. Canada airlifted 25,000 Syrian refugees between December and February alone with full public support. My eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren will thank our conservative and liberal governments for thinking of them.

I recommend "baby on board" decal on rear window, cheap baby seat and nice pink hat in automobile moms often ride in. Lets see.....maybe Buick, Chevy or Volvo crossover?

Mike,
If you are OK with some innocents getting killed occasionally by law enforcement, then what is the difference with some innocent people being denied a firearm because they somehow end up on a terrorist watch list as both occur out of a necessary law enforcement function.
I didn't say I was OK with it. I was saying in a nation of 330,000,000 people there are going to be some citizens shot by policemen when they shouldn't have been shot. The policeman may have been negligent, he may have made a simple mistake in judgement, he may have been inexperienced. But it is going to happen. If the central government can simnply put citizens on a list without due process or judge or jury and then deprive them of their Second Amendment rights they can also deprive of them of their entire Bill of Rights.
I am glad to be here.

Until the law gets struck down as unconstitutional....

Until the law gets struck down as unconstitutional.... That's not good enough. If a bill will result in a constitutional violation, the legislature has a duty to vote it down before it ever has a chance to become law. All of this 'list' business smacks too much of secret Star Chamber proceedings to my way of thinking...Geo

Ummmmm TRAP laws Geo????..... Then do you agree that laws for the purposeful Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers such as the ones that were struck down in Texas should never have been laws passed by the Texas legislature and signed by Gov. Perry in the first place? What about laws banning gay marriage? Do you think those should have never been passed as well?

TRAP law in TX seems to have had some basis in making sure patients had access to the best medical care rather than being relegated to some nasty abortion mill that happened to be close by and convenient. Court overturned it, but the reasoning seems to have been the convenience of the mother (?) wanting the abortion.
Gay marriage? I still hold that the "right" to gay marriage is a manufacture of the liberal courts similar to the strained construction of abortion as a constitutionally protected right under Life Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness. Gay marriage and abortion prohibition were the law of the land long before the courts transformed both into rights.
Shoot, I remember when both were not only illegal and a sin, but a disgrace as well...Geo

Canada airlifted 25,000 Syrian refugees between December and February alone with full public support. My condolences. Save Jet fuel there are plenty of "refugees" stateside that we'd be willing to ship north.
Dodging lions and wasting time.....
