A terrible tragedy. We are getting it on British news that one offender shot himself when confronted by Police and three other have been arrested. Don't know how many were involved. Hope they accounted for the lot. Just hope that there are no copycat incidents elsewhere. Lagopus.....

The report of the suicide has been retracted. The suspect in question died when police sent in a robot to detonate his explosive device. I begin to wonder if this was an ISIS attack under the cover of a protest. It is definaty a well planned, highly coordinated attack.

Heartfelt for sure but all the forum's chatter and speculation of who did what to whom is semantics until citizens make an honest assessment of reality, of the country they want to live in, and the sacrifices they're prepared to make it happen. Otherwise, officers, innocents and activists seeking social justice in their communities died in vain; no rest-in-peace for them.

"Activists seeking social justice" are a rare commodity down where we live, King. Sorry to have to bring that up.

I hope that our Country will have the wisdom to just "Tone it Down" until all facts become transparent. Another +1 and an Amen to the original post...Geo

Semantics is the study of the meaning of words. Freedom, innocent, guilty, corruption, terrorist, fear, protection. Without an understanding off what is truly being said and done another coat of paint over the cultural crack will do little good and in the long run possibly result in irreparable harm. People who attempt to cure very complicated issues with a band aid are lazy and most often corrupt.

Otherwise, officers, innocents and activists seeking social justice in their communities died in vain; no rest-in-peace for them. I'd say an "honest assessment of reality" is the religious collectivisation of subcultures according to Soviet Balkanization doctrine. The previous police shootings were individual acts, which are being distorted to attempt to assert the existence of an official policy of oppression and murder against a specific subculture. This is religious collectivism, a sociopathic faith-based belief. It merely feeds the "Victim Cult" indoctrinated by the Democrats, and provides moral rationalization for psychotic, collectivist, religious violence against the police.
I prefer wood to plastic, leather to nylon, waxed cotton to Gore-Tex, and split bamboo to graphite.
