But, you make an important observation, there is the entitlement to knowing the talking points. Too bad opposing sides can't agree that the mind should be able to arrive at the talking points and not just leave them to the feelings of the heart. Interesting you feel a racist has been nominated by a party. I would presumptively think that is a pre judgement attached to a record number of citizen voters. Have you ever stopped to consider that his immigration plan, that you demonize, is nothing more that a points, quota?, system taken from observations of Canadian immigration policy?

People generally act on their feelings. Part of US tragedy is lots of"dialogue" but little action because indifference is usually caused by the identity of victims.
Five-down could focus judgement in this respect. Killing of five Jewish college kids travelling South to get out the black vote did it for the civil rights movement.
