I must admit that I've never understood the motivation to persist with something that not only imposes penalties of effort to use and contains the possibilities for inconsistent performance even when the additional effort is expended.
There are so many powders available that forego those impositions that continuing with 800X seems little more than masochistic. There is no documented advantage to it that I can discover.
I can't presume to understand the motivations of others, but I do have some notion of tw's inclinations. I can only hope that other users of 800X are not similarly ..................... impaired.
