Thanks for the link Mike. That article is a good read and the data should be used to confront the argument that the police shootings are the result of pure racism. But the source of the data seems to come solely from law enforcement reports. It would of been interesting if the research group, in addition to the law enforcement data, looked at the economic status of the suspects in each police report they reviewed and considered that information in making their conclusions.
