Ken, thanks for the generous offer. I actually have all the engraving equpment and used to do a fair bit with it, but I haven't done much in the last few years. In any event, I'm sure I'm not anywhere close to your level. Still, I have been thinking I will probably engrave a simple monogram similar to what Winchester used to do on some of their rifles. I've never done any gold inlay work, but I might actually do a bit of practicing and possibly try it on this one when I get to that stage, I think a very simple gold inlayed monogram might look kind of nice on this rifle. Just out of curiosity, what are you using for engraving equipment? I have owned a Magnagraver for several years, but have been thinking about upgrading to possibly a Gravermeister, or Gravermax. Do you have any opinions on either of these? The Magnagraver just seems a bit awkward in comparison to some of the hand pieces that either of these other two are capable of using.
