HELP!!! Fairly new Citori.. Just notice the missing solder/filler... What can I do? Rib isnt loose. Not separated..

Just stuff a little wad of steel wool into the hole and fill it up with 50/50 solder. This time, clean and flux it so it won't fall out again. Once it cools, file it flush and polish it with worn 320 grit cloth, backed up by a file. Don't let the solder flow into the joint between the choke and barrel( maybe clay or tape).

No uncommon . Either fill it with solder , solder/glue a triangular fitted plug in . I have noted some guns have the nose ends have been filled with an epoxy type cold casting repair or liquid metal that frequently disappears during blacking . Altrenatly remove the plug on the other side and leave the nose ends open as it is mainly cosmetic .

Altrenatly remove the plug on the other side and leave the nose ends open as it is mainly cosmetic . I'm sorry, but I heartily disagree. If a gunsmith told me this I would never darken his door again. Shaving and getting haircuts are mainly cosmetic, too. And actually, I disagree that the keels are "mainly cosmetic". They keep a lot of moisture out that would potentially cause oxidation and eventual damage. It's takes enough tedium to keep up an old double without "creating" a space 26 to 32 inches long for crap to get started in. SRH

There was no way I was leaving that open....  Thank You guys for the help.... I used an epoxy putty by JB weld... I was told to closely inspect the side that was still intact,,and I would find it is a steel embedded epoxy.... sure enough it was.... Again... Thank you guys.. I thought i was in trouble..

I've never seen one that does, gunman. I've dealt with quite a few Italian, German and American made O/Us. No English ones.
Which ones, in particular, are shipped that way, so's I can make sure to avoid them?
