EVeryone making their high-horse moral statements is telling all of us who disagree that we are immoral, liars, and have no principals.
Guys, is that REALLY what you want to say? If so, then all I can say is that I envy you.
I am 100% serious. If my life were going along so great that when a total stranger does what he wants with his own property that it causes a blood pressure to rise, then it is obvious that you have absolutely nothing difficult in your lives. If you need some real problems to worry about, drop me a PM and I will figure out how you can help me shoulder some of my issues. I am sure many others on this board are in equal or even worse situations than me. A man sold his gun folks, not nuked a country or something.
THis is a totally inannimate object owned by a citizen of this country who wants to maximize his investment. How many of you Hollier Than THou's on this board emailed the seller before he parted out the gun and told him YOU personally would gross up the final bid to be sure he got what he needed to keep it whole? Come on, step on up to the plate and tell us what YOU actually did while sitting behind your little computer screen with all of your superior morals.
I have read this board almost daily for over 10 years. A conservative estimate of days I have logged onto this board and read the posts is 3400 days, almost always multiple times a day. THat is a very consevative number, and it is likely more. In all of that time, I can honestly say that this is the most assanine thread I have ever read on this BBS.
I rarely post at all, and the times I have ever entered a pissing match here can probably be counted on 2 or 3 fingers, including this post I am making now. But this thread is just over the top.
RELAX GUYS-this is all supposed to be fun, remember? We all wear long pants here and no one needs their daddy telling them what is right and what is wrong. I promise each of you Moral Superiors I can find something in your lives that I do not agree with. I can assure you one thing, I absolutely will not tell you how immoral you are and then beat you up in public over it.
