She shoots a Beretta, I always thought she shot a Perazzi. Now we have three Italian manufacturers dukin it out. Like to see who wins the most Olympic medals.

Kim used to shoot a Perazzi, because there was a big fuss made when it was stolen. It was eventually recovered after she got another Perazzi. She got married, had a son, and laid off shooting for a year. When she started back shooting she switched to the DT-11 because she said it had way less recoil. She said the only reason she switched to the Beretta was less recoil. Kinda puzzling to me, but when you shoot 800-1000 rounds a day, every day, I guess you know what you're talking about.

Pretty stout shotgun to take that kind of pounding day in and day out. But, my money is on Perazzi dominating the Olympics again.

Someone who used to shoot skeet in the Olympics in the 60's left me with his Browning to look after. I don't think I have ever seen one so loose and off the face. They do indeed get some pounding to end up like that. Lagopus.....

So who's your money on Lagopus? Perazzi? Beretta? Caesar Guerini? Krieghoff?

Not a million miles from Tansley? Eug
Thank you, very kind. Mine's a pint

Re Kim Rhode . . . back in 2000, the Bush campaign rented the Izaak Walton Club in Ames, IA for a campaign event, to give W a head start in the caucuses. Kim was there, put on a shooting demonstration I'm sorry I missed. She shot skeet with her dad holding her upside down. I understand she missed a couple birds, but that's still pretty amazing.

I can be as jingoistic as the next person but with this I have to go with family and have great hopes and best wishes for Amber. Well, the US shooters too, but mostly Amber. https://www.facebook.com/AmberHillOffici...e=3&theaterBTW - Beretta bought Kim. All her Olympic medals to date are with Perazzi. As in all those medals hanging on her gun in the Beretta advert hahahahaha have another day Dr.WtS
