In my state a bank , lending institution or museum , shooting gallery , etc. can . The weapon can be an asset of a corporation . But the state law may require a " warm body " on the license even if the company is named as the owner. The assets of a company are owned by the company for the benefit of shareholders . A corporation is considered a person. So a license would be required unless there is a state exemption .
