Has anyone heard of the above maker/retailer?
Pre 04 hammergun ,three strip damascus,lovely engraving,no doubt a good grade gun in its day.

I've seen a few guns with his name on them. They looked very much like typical Birmingham origin/influence guns and did have some span of original quality grade.

C.H.Maleham and T.Murfin patented a hammerless action for double guns #940 of 1873.This action was cocked by the top lever.A Maleham gun featuring this patent is reviewed in The book, "Shotguns and Gunsmiths", by the late Geoffrey Boothroyd.The action had very limited sales, examples of same are scarce. Boothroyd reports that by the 1880,s Maleham was selling guns using the A.& D. action with Scott top lever
Records show George Maleham was in business at,5,West Bar,
Sheffield, 1847-1868.The business continued in Sheffield in to the 1970,s.
Maleham also conducted business in London at various locations from 1878-1913.
