Gentlemen,I'm glad you've seen this one. I do have an inquiry into Mr. Greener about this gun as it's the first I've ever seen - though far from the first sidelock Greener I've handled. I admit to taking a shortcut in the dating of the gun, looking at the serial number in Brown's book rather than Greener's. I have multiple copies of Brown's and only one of Greener's so the Greener book stays at home in my library rather than in my office where things sometimes disappear. Kirk Merrington has seen the gun and noted nothing out of the ordinary except that it was very solid and in good condition. When I hear back from Greener's, I'll be happy to share the information. I may have to try this one out - it told me that it needed some exercise.
