....Look what they are doing with/to it. and it's diet.... I kinda wondered about that too, but oh well, it's their gun. Who knows, those shells could be 'low pressure' magnum goose loads. That video seems to have a pretty slick production, why not cut out the part where they run into the dekes with the boat.

"...why not cut out the part..." where they pose with the old girl for the photographer.
"I kinda wondered..." how much it costs to shoot ducks with Bo
What's next? Video of the guy who bought the river blasting Don Thomas' books?
Kinda funny Whoop got passed around like a joint at a Grateful Dead concert and the fellow at the end of the video puts her away in the case like it's the Grail.
'Don't come back here, Yankee!' ...as I'm escorted off the grounds 'Well, if I ever do...I'll bring more money, 'cause all I want to do...' (is blast squirrels out of trees with Bo Whoop)

Cool story, thanks for posting it. If I had found the gun, and the names on it, I too would think nothing of it. But then again, I have the internet at this point.

Back in the days when there was no shame in taking long ducks, people got good at it. Bo Whoop was made for those times.
The cartridges used could easily have smoked those ducks at twice the range they were shot at. The hits weren't really that good.
I would have liked to just hear the recording of the report from down the lake when Bo was touched off with some vintage cartridges.
I'm glad the old girl was allowed back on the dance floor at least once more.
Out there doing it best I can.

This is yours truly looking down the same barrels that Mistah Nash looked down. My heart was in my throat when it was handed to me. I shoot a 32", 3" chambered HE of my own, but spending an hour with BoWhoop was very, very special. I was a big fan of Nash's long before the gun "came out of the closet" in Savannah, and I was able to spend some time with it. I, for one, was delighted when it was bought by Nash's hunting partner's son, who then donated it to DU. It would have been a shame for it to have been locked away for another 50 years. SRH

I might try a little video because Stan and George and Gil would like it. I'd have to put down my sweet tea to take the shot~! The three of us are still waiting. Hope that tea has mint and lemon in it. SRH

I was incompetent yesterday with my camera. The birds got off the roost, flew up my driveway, and I was squeezing the button to shoot the video, and it was the On/Off button.
I'll be out in the AM.
I haven't forgot you. It was like bending the trigger with the safety on! It was like bending
