Hi TW!

Wife reluctantly took the pictures. She hates being cold or even outside between October and March.

For a frame of reference...Her idea of camping is a Marriott Courtyard as opposed to a full service Marriott...;-)

I called her to drive my AWD car back to get closer to where I was so I didn't have to drag it another 500 yards to where I had the car parked. Fortunately; I was hunting my neighbors 60 acre horse farm and the logistics allowed her to get reasonably close to me pretty quickly.

I wear a harness because I typically hunt alone and from a very portable tree stand with climbing sticks. I don't use it to drag with.

To drag I have an old school hemp rope attached to a shoulder loop of orange seat belt like webbing. I've had it for years and it's more of a traditional thing for me. Kind of like the Gerber knife my brother gave me decades ago or the hunters hoist retractable haul cord...I will snap a picture of my old school gear and post it on the morrow.

I have a systematic anti-heart attack drag process for large deer....Walk 25 paces ahead...deposit Bow (or gun), back pack and any extraneous gear. Walk back to deer...drag deer to gear wait 1 minute....Repeat till your out of the woods and add water as necessary. I will probably do this till I hit 60 then I'm going shopping for a nice 4-wheeler.
