Thanks, Sam. My 28 gauge M12 does exactly that with the older 2&7/8" red Western paper hulls that came with it. As I am too cheap to pay $14.95/box for AA skeet loads at Mega-Mart to feed it, I can't say if this happens with today's plastic hulls. If we had a legal dove season in MI I might consider shooting it- my dentist and his pal shoot 28 gauge Beretta O/U (Cheney's choice for dustin' off lawyers in TX I hear)as they would reload No. 8 target loads for me, if I provide the empty hulls- Ah well, another "safe queen" from the Big Red WRA--RWTF
